I was notified that a parent requested me but I can no longer see it in the app.

When a Parent sends a request out, they typically send it to multiple sitters. 

If you receive a notification that a Parent requested you, but are now unable to see it in the app it can mean they confirmed another Sitter or that they changed their mind and no longer need a Sitter. 

For best results, you should accept bookings as quickly as you can once you receive them, after checking your personal calendar that you actually can and want to take the job (make sure to read the special instructions if there are any!). Having a great profile photo, bio, and competitive rate can also help give you the edge over other Sitters as well!
