Getting started with Bambino is easy.

  1. Create your profile by adding your babysitting experience, setting your hourly rate, uploading a clear and current profile photo, and completing your About Me section. Parents often use these sections to get to know Sitters and decide who they feel most comfortable requesting and booking.
  2. Set up your payout account through Stripe so you can receive payments for completed bookings. If you are under 18, this must be completed using a parent or legal guardian’s information.
  3. Request a recommendation from a Parent you have babysat for or another responsible adult who can speak to your experience and character.
  4. Bambino assumes Sitters are generally available to receive booking requests. Sitters can use the in-app calendar feature to mark themselves unavailable for work, class, travel, or other commitments.
  5. Once your profile is active, Parents can send you booking requests directly through the app.
  6. Review each booking request carefully, including the booking details and Parent profile, then choose whether to accept or decline the request.
  7. If you accept a request, the Parent will choose which Sitter they would like to confirm for the booking. Parents may send requests to multiple Sitters at one time.
  8. Once confirmed for a booking, arrive on time and communicate with the Parent directly through the app if needed.
  9. Sits will begin automatically at the scheduled booking time.
  10. After the booking ends, Parents will confirm the times and submit payment directly through the app. Bambino is a cashless platform, and all payments should be completed through the app.
