Sometimes a Sitter may accept a booking request and later realize they are unavailable. When this happens, the Sitter can update their response, which removes them from the request.


This most commonly happens when:

  • A Sitter accidentally accepts a request
  • A scheduling conflict comes up after responding
  • The Sitter updates their availability calendar


Because text notifications are sent immediately after a Sitter accepts, you may still receive the original notification even if the Sitter later removes themselves from the request.


Parents can continue their search by adding additional Sitters to the request:
Bookings → Requests → Select Request → Add More Sitters
