Can I contact a Sitter who has accepted my request before confirming?

We understand finding the right Sitter for your family is important and we strive to connect parents with local, vetted Sitters recommended by their friends and neighbors.  We encourage you to link your Facebook account and upload your phone contacts to help us connect you with friends using the app. You can do this in the 'My Account' tab in the app.  


Premium Parents can start a conversation with any sitter after going through a safety and Identity Verification Check. Sitters can only respond to the chat if they have completed IDV or have completed at least one booking.


If this is your first time requesting a sitter, welcome! You can call and message a sitter through Bambino once she/he is confirmed (chosen) for a sit. Once confirmed, you can call or message your Sitter by selecting the phone or message bubble icon in the upper right corner of her profile in the Confirmed Bookings tab.  If you talk with the Sitter and decide she is not the best fit for your family you can cancel the sit in the app and create a new request.

If you have completed a sit through the app previously you can message a Sitter who has accepted your request prior to confirming her.
