What are the rules for messaging? (Only for users in Florida & Charlotte, NC)

Safety Check for All Users:

All users must meet one of the following safety checks in order to start a chat or reply to a message: 

1) Complete IDV or 2) User was verified (completed at least one booking) prior to the launch of IDV.

For Sitters:

A Sitter can start a conversation with a Parent if any of these conditions are met:

• The Sitter and Parent favorite each other within Bambino.
• The Sitter was requested by a parent and 
  • The Parent has passed Bambino's ID verification process and completed at least one booking. 
  • The Sitter was invited by the parent to the sit request and not auto-suggested.
• The Parent confirmed the sitter for a booking

For Parents:

Parents with a Premium Membership can start a conversation with any sitter after going through a safety and Identity Verification Check. Sitters can only respond to the chat if they have completed IDV or have completed at least one booking.

Any Parent can start a conversation with a Sitter if any of these conditions are met: 

• The Sitter and Parent favorite each other within Bambino.
• The Parent has a confirmed booking with the sitter.
• The Sitter has accepted the request and the parent is verified and has passed Bambino's ID verification process.
